Play a digital piano with greater expression and control. DK-390 provides an authentic playing experience by simulating the complex mechanism of an acoustic piano. This improved touch and playing response is complemented by a sample-based sound engine and 192 Polyphony, so every note you play is fully expressed. As a result, you can get a soft, gentle sound all the way through to something loud and 'fortissimo'. Plus, you can transform the sensitivity of your piano with just the touch of a button.
The Sound of an Acoustic, the Ease of Digital
DK-390 features a multi-timbral grand piano sound. It also includes 88 other voices – you'll be able to experiment in any genre. Featuring 192-note polyphony, it enables playing even the most complex pieces possible.
Two 25-watt speakers turn your home into a concert hall with refined stereo sound. Alternatively, simply plug in your headphones to practice without affecting others. The Split, Layer and Twin mode allows you to customize your sound, in addition to built-in reverb and chorus effects. You can even record your own compositions thanks to the two onboard memory banks.
Grow with Your Playing
If nothing else, learning to play piano should be fun. The tools to develop your playing further are all here, including a metronome. Practice different time signatures and keep your timing sharp - because as any musician can tell you, if it's not in time, it won't sound like music!
DK-390 also makes it easier to learn your favorite songs. A transposing function lets you take a song you want to learn and move it into an easier way to play the key. In Learn Mode, you can play along with any of the demo songs at your own pace, helping you study new pieces and improving your fingering.
Designed for Home
DK-390 is suitable for being displayed at home too. Its sturdy, wooden stand is lighter and more portable than an acoustic piano, and easily blends into any room. DK-390 comes in a sleek, rosewood-look finish (available in Black/White/Rosewood), with expertly crafted keys and an uncluttered array of buttons. Underneath the keys, a convenient holder stores your headphones tidily and out of the way. There's also a keyboard cover slid to keep your piano clean and protected.
Connections and Tools
The USB-to-host connection works with both Mac and PC, so you can record your playing or control a DAW or cakewalk of your choice. It also has an exceptionally usable MIDI controller, which can be connected to sound modules and synthesizers for limitless sound possibilities.
